Mrs. Russell Services Held On Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Cox Russell were held last Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Okolona Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Claude Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Okolona Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Russell, who was 72 years of age, died on Thursday night last week in the Okolona Community Hospital following an extended illness.
She was a retired medical receptionist and a member of the Methodist Church.
She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Cox Elliott and Mrs. Marion Cox Henson, both of Okolona.
Pallbearers were Bill Brown, John H. Reifers, Nelson Miller, J. D. Higginbotham, William Little, James Waldrop, Ewell Welford, Buddy Holder, and Mitchell Pierce.
