Mrs. Charles Allison

Mrs. Bertha Jane Allison, wife of Charles W. Allison, 113 N. Pine St., Lisbon, died Sunday morning at 1 at Salem City Hospital, where she was admitted about two weeks ago. She was born July 4, 1888, in St. Clair Township, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smith. She was married in 1913. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Lisbon, the Women's Relief Corps and the Daughters of America. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Phylis Pope, and a son, Walter Allison, both of Lisbon, and two brothers, N. J. D. Smith and Leonard P. Smith, both of Lisbon. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Warrick Funeral Home in Columbiana by the Rev. C. O. Armstrong of the United Presbyterian Church at Lisbon. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight.
