Carl H. Arnegard, was the son of Halvor Olson and Ingeborg Botolvsdtr. Oygarden Arnegard, born in Norway township on 12 Sept. 1882.

Last rites will be conducted by Rev. Arthur Anderson at Wesley Methodist Church this Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. for Carl Arnegard, long-time resident of this area who passed away Monday in Hillsboro, after a 2 years illness. Services will be from the home at 1:30 p.m.
Born, Sept. 12, 1880, in Norway township, Mr. Arnegard was raised and educated there and farmed in that community until 11 years ago, when he retired.
On June 22, 1909, he married Mathilda 'Tillie' Ellingrud. He and Mrs. Arnegard had made their home in Hillsboro in recent years.
Surviving the deceased are his wife, one son Lloyd, of rural Hillsboro; 2 brothers, Ed of Hillsboro and Ben of Minneapolis, MN and 2 sisters: Mrs. Olof Olson of Park River, ND and Mrs. Andrew Swenson of Hillsboro rural. There are also 3 grandchildren: Shirley, Beverly and Barbara Arnegard.
Mr. Arnegard was a member of the Free Lutheran church.
