Aunt Sallie was born April 24, 1887, and on her 98th birthday was "happy and healthy." She started having a series of small strokes a week to ten days later and died. A card sent by her daughter-in-law Frances May Campbell to my aunt in Ohio was dated June 15th and gave details on Aunt Sallie's funeral. She is supposedly buried near Bear Bryant.
Aunt Sallie had two sons, Tazwell Jefferson and Gilbert W. Campbell. Both died without children. She is buried in a May-Gilbert plot near her son TJ and his in-laws. Her husband Smith Campbell died in 1942 and is buried in Prospect Cemetery in Giles County, TN near Sallie's parents (my great grandparents.)
