Miss Maxine Byland

Dies Sunday Morning after an illness of two years, Miss Maxine Aileen Byland passed away early Sunday morning at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Byland, 544 North Eighteenth street. The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Hollingsworth Mayflower Chapel, with the Rev. D. Vincent Gray of the Church of the Good Samaritan officiating. Mr. Ralph P. Schindler will sing. Interment is to be in Crystal Lake Cemetery.

Miss Byland was born at Shedd May 26, 1913, and had spent the greater part of her life in Corvallis, attending the grammar schools and graduating from Corvallis high school. For approximately five years she was employed at the Medo-Land creamery company office.

Surviving with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byland, are three sisters, Mrs. George D. Bailey of Camas, Washington, and Miss Betty and Miss Alberta Byland, at home, and five brothers; Alvin Byland, Butte Idaho, Keith of Tucson, Arizona, and Terry, Bernard and Jack Byland of Corvallis.
