Mrs. Mattie Myrtle Taylor, 81, of 6167 E. Lovers Lane, died Wednesday in a Dallas hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Taylor was born in Bonham. She was a member of Highland Park Methodist Church and was an active member of its Fellowship class. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Albert Taylor of Dallas; a son Ben D. Taylor of Dallas, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services well be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Cox Memorial Chapel of Highland Park Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, with the Rev. Don Benton officiating. Burial will be at Restland Memorial Park.

Mother: Julia Pierce - born in North Carolina on March 24, 1845. Died in Bonham Oct. 17, 1919
