Sarah Brannan, aged 78 years, died this morning at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Huldah Roller. Mrs. Brannan had been very feeble for a long time and the lingering and gradual failure from extreme old age was her chief ailment. She had lived a long, useful, dutiful and Christian life as wife, mother and grandmother and her death was only the passing over to the eternal rest of the blessed. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Roller and Belle Laugel; and one son, Kelly Brannan, to mourn her death. The Pioneer joins the many friends of the bereaved family in extending sincere sympathy. Funeral services were held at Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Harry C. Case and the remains laid to rest in A. O. U. W. Cemetery.
