Huldah Roller died on January 27, 1928 at the age of 66 years, 5 months and 15 days. She was born on August 10, 1861 in St. Francisville, Illinois to Alexander and Sarah Brannan. She was married to James Fielding Roller in Indiana, whose death preceded her by only 7 months. To this union were born twelve children, of whom four are living, the rest preceding her to the Great Beyond. She united with Wesleyan Methodist Church in early childhood and remained a faithful member until her death. Mrs. Roller had been ill but a few days. She leaves four children, Ella Russell of St. Paul, Kansas, Lou Hutchins of Alva, Anna Brown of Bloom, Kansas, and James F. Roller, Jr. of Plains, Kansas; one brother, Kelly Brannan of Alva; and other relatives and a host of friends to deeply mourn their loss.
