Mabel E. Beckett Myers, 95, of Vienna passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 17, 1911, in Wood County, a daughter of the late George A. and Ida E. Beckett. She was a homemaker and a member of Briscoe Run Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, George L. Myers and his wife, Phyllis, of Belpre and Eugene Myers and his wife, Joan, of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bessie Jarvis and her husband, Harold, and Varra Stephens, both of Vienna.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Latham R. Myers; one son, Richard E. Myers; and an infant daughter, Betty.
In honor of Mabel's request, no visitation or services will be observed. Cremation services have been entrusted to the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg. Burial will be in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Housecalls Hospice, 1601 Garfield Ave., Parkersburg, WV 26101.
