QUITAQUE - Allen Brummett, 81, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with Jamie and Tonya Braly officiating and Jeff Addison assisting. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery by Myers-Chancellor Funeral Home.
Mr. Brummett was born Nov. 29, 1926, in Gasoline to Willie Madison Brummett and Alpha Velma Crenshaw Brummett.
Survivors include his wife, Christine; a son, Don Brummett of Quitaque; a daughter, Connie Rice of Spur; a brother; three sisters; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
