Joshua Dean admire, Pioneer dies here in Indianapolis, Ind. A pioneer Marion County resident, Joshua Dean Admire, 90, died Sunday at his resdience at 114 1/2 E. Ohio St. Mr. Admire was a native of Iowa but moved to Marion County 88 year ago. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the G. H. Herman Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Round Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Admire, a retired farmer, was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was the oldest of four-generation family. Surviving are two daughter, Maude Knarzer, Indianapolis and Myrtle Bernauer, Indio, Calif.; a son, Floyd Admire, Indianapolis; a brother, James Admire, Morgantown; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildlren and three great-great grandchildren.
According to Milo "Pete" Peterson, Joshua Dean Admire was probably married to Lucretia Richards, who must have preceded him in death.
Joshua was the son of James and Elizabeth (Dean) Admire
and grandson of Jesse and Nancy (Leamon) Admire.
