Mrs. Mary G. Perkins, 85 of Jellico, formerly of Elk Valley, died at Jellico Community Hospital at 10:15 p.m. Friday, August 13.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest L. Perkins of Elk Valley and W.F. Perkins of Thomasville, N.C.; five daughters, Mrs. Guy (Ruth) Miller of Kingsport, Mrs. Melvin (Muriel) Heatherly of Alcoa, Mrs. Marie Ellard of Jellico, Mrs. Marty (Carrie) Burnclick of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. H.L. (Louise) Holspple of Oak Ridge; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 16 at 1 p.m. at Stanfill Baptist Church by the Rev. Odom Baker. Burial was in Stanfield Cemetery.
Ellison Funeral Home, Jellico, was in charge of arrangements.
