Amos Christopher, 89, formerly of 1017 S. 30th St., died at 3:30 a.m. today in Lafayette Care Inc. (West Lafayette, Indiana) where he had been a patient three years. Born and reared near Badger Grove in White County, he lived at Putnam before moving here. He was married in 1909 at Battle Ground to Delia C. Stewart, who survives. Mr. Christopher was a saw operator at National Homes Corp for 15 years before his retirement in 1956. He was a member of First Evangelical Mennonite Church. Surviving with the widow are three sons, John Christopher of Lafayette, Everett Christopher of Battle Ground and Glenn Thomas Christopher of Terre Haute; and three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Mink and Mrs. Arthur (Ethel) Paris, both of Lafayette, and Mrs. Leon (Dorothy) Brower of Rossville.
