OBITUARY
It is with unfeigned sorrow we are called upon. This week to announced the death of one of the Settlers of Pierce Co. Mrs. Benjamin Coon passed Quietly away to that beautiful Beyond, from which Bourne, no traveler returns, Jan 20, 1892, At the residence of her son, Oliver, in the village of Olivet. Deceased, formerly Hannah St. Clair, Was born in Canada, Jan. 26, 1827, where she Married Benj. Coon, moved to Ill. in 1852, and Afterwards to Pierce Co., Wis. where she resided a number of years. A member of the Baptist Church, she was a consistant Christian, a loving Wife. She leaves a husband, four sons and two Daughters to mourn her loss. To her grief-Stricken family, the friends extend the feeble Words of heartfelt sympathy in this their Great bereavement. Funeral was held Fri. Afternoon at the M.E. Church. Rev. Wilson officiating. A large congregration was in attendance.
