A memorial service for Lucille Brewer, 95, Topeka, will be 2 pm, Tuesday February 17, 2015, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-2.


She was born May 22, 1919, in Thayer, MO, and died February 12, 2015, in Topeka, KS. She was married to Lester O. Brewer on December 23, 1936. To this union six children were born: Barbara, Herman, Velma, Charles, David and Thelma.


Lucille was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, four sisters, two sons, and one grandson.


She worked at the Ramada Inn in Topeka, KS, and retired in 1992.


Survivors include three daughters, a son, a brother, ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and six great great grand children.


Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, or donor's choice, sent in care of the funeral home.
