Carl Dean Watson, son of Amos and Leatha I. (Crews) Watson, was born on August 24, 1947 in Thayer, Missouri and passed from this life on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the VA hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 30 days.

Carl was a proud Vietnam Veteran and served his country with honors!

His hobbies included Hunting and fishing, He could not pass by a flea market or garage sale without stopping, he collected knifes, pocket watches, and oddly ink pens.

He was an active member at his church, Tabernacle of Praise, here in Westville Oklahoma.

He worked for Cal-Maine foods as a Trucking supervisor for a little over 30 years.

Carl will be loved and missed by everyone.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents Amos Watson and Leatha Watson and 8 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife Patsy Watson of the home, His daughter Carla and son-in-law Steve Onions of Westville OK. Grand daughters are Caitlyn Morton of Westville OK and Beth Smith and husband Jeremy of Garfield AR. Surviving brothers and sisters are: Ray Watson of Raymore MO, Wayne Watson of Kansas City, Kansas, Waymon Watson of Thayer, MO, Gene Watson of Belton MO and Vera Ruth Herring of Branson MO. Carl had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside services were held at 3 pm on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Westville City Cemetery, Westville, OK with Bro. Chris Harrison officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK.
