Zora Armstrong

Zora Armstrong, 81, Columbus Nursing home, died at 2:40 a.m. today at the Bartholomew County hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver funeral home by the Rev. Roger Flemming. Burial will be at Bethel cemetery.

Persons may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and until time of service Monday.

Mrs. Armstrong was born Feb. 1, 1894, in Bartholomew county to Mr. and Mrs. John Cook. She was married to Garland Armstrong in 1919, and he preceded her in death Oct. 20, 1959.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include a son, Claude M. Armstrong of 612 South Cherry; a sister, Mrs. Montie Joslin of Franklin; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Armstrong also was preceded in death by a son, Donald Armstrong; and two brothers and two sisters.
