James Abrams, Sr had no middle name according to the book, "The Abrams Family Genealogy 1745 to 1979" by George Carter Abrams published in 1979.

In the book reference above it shows that two of Mary's grandchildren had Tedford as their middle name. It was misspelled on her petition for land when she arrived in Charleston, South Carolina in 1743. The petition is shown on page 128 of Janie Revill's book, "A Compilation of the Original Protestant Immigrants to South Carolina" published in 1968.
