BRATTON, Mrs. G.B. (CALDWELL)- Mrs. G.B. Bratton passed away Wednesday afternoon about three o'clock at the home of her step-son, E.M. Bratton, south of town. Mrs. Bratton was 89 years of age and had been in ill health for some time and on Sunday she sustained a slight stroke of paralysis and this,no doubt, hastened the end. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at one o'clock at the Presbyterian church, the remains were laid to rest in Bluff Cemetery beside those of her husband. For many years she had been a devout member of the Presbyterian church and in her more active days was interested in all church work. She leaves one brother, J.B. Caldwell, at Kirksville,MO and a number of nephews and nieces.
