Walter Brewster: Walter Lee Brewster, 67, Tefft, died at 5:30 a.m. today in Porter Memorial hospital following a year's illiness. He lived in the Tefft area 29 years, coming from Hebron. He married Zella Wright Dec 24, 1914, in Tennessee. He was a member of the Tefft Nazarene Chruch. Surviving are his widow; five daughters, Mrs. Opal Cowley of Monticello, Ill., Mrs. Ovelia Obenchain of Rensselaer, Mrs. Daisy Miller of Wheatfield, Mrs. Velda Fitzgerald of Hebron, Mrs. Velma Grass of Valparaiso; two sons, DeVere Brewster of Tefft, and Retus Brewster of Kouts; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Ferkins of Hookston, IL., and Mrs. Nettie Girdler of Somerset, Ky,; a brother, Theodore of Dayton, O.; 24 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A son, Walter, preceded him in death. Services will be held a 2 p.m. Saturaday at Tefft Nazarene church. The Rev. Arvil Starnes will officiate, and burial will be at Boswell, Ind. Friends may call at Todd Funeral home, DeMotte, after 2 p.m. Friday until 1 p.m. Saturday and at the church from 1p.m. until services.
