This is my Granny's brother. It is interesting to note the spelling of his name. I have always wondered if that was what his parents, who were both unable to read or write for the most part, intended for his name. When the family refers to him they say Claud A, almost like the A was supposed to be a middle initial.
He married a woman named Norma Jean and he died in his 30s from cancer. Norma Jean never married again and I am not sure if she ever even dated. He and Norma Jean had two daughters, Phyllis and Brenda.
