Lawrence L. Dreffs Sr. Lansing Age 87, passed away, Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Lawrence was born June 29, 1924 in Gaylord, Michigan the son of Alexander and Veronica (Piasecki) Dreffs. Larry was owner/operator of Larry's Friendly Gulf Service in E. Lansing for 25 years. He was also a long time employee at Lorenz Brothers/Glenn Buege Buick in his later years. Larry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara (Ketchum) Dreffs; brother, Vincent Dreffs, sister, Agatha Milbocker; sister in law, Marcia Dreffs. He is survived by his loving children, Larry (Beverly) Dreffs of San Leandro, CA, David (Lee Ann) Dreffs of Livermore, CA and Dianne Dreffs of Lansing, MI; grandson, James Dreffs of Livermore, CA; sisters, Monica (John) Judson, Rosebelle (Frank) Switalski and Marcella (Carl) Goosen; brothers, Cyril (Prudy) Dreffs, Valentine (Shirley) Dreffs, Floyd Dreffs, Virgil (Kathy) Dreffs; brother in laws, Merrell (Norene) Ketchum and Gordon (Jackie) Ketchum; sister in law, Billie Dreffs. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. There will be no funeral service held at this time. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of Lansing in memory of Larry. The family is being served by the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel.
