Florence Valeria Westmoreland Burns, 87, homemaker and long-time resident of Fly Road in Santa Fe, TN died Saturday, January 27, 2024, at her residence in Culleoka, TN.

Born March 23, 1936, in Maury County, TN she was the daughter of the late Terry Franklin Westmoreland and the late Emily Byrd Westmoreland. In December 1959, she married John William Burns who preceded her in death January 19, 2001. From the time Mrs. Burns was 13 years old, she enjoyed babysitting until she was no longer able. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, and still cooked for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Mrs. Burns was of Nazarene faith.

Survivors include her sons, Donnie (Lesia) Burns of Santa Fe; Ronnie (Sherry) Burns of Columbia: five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; godson, Zachary Potts of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant child and nine brothers and sisters.
