William Lee Broxton, 52, of Panama City, FL., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009. He was born in Bay County, FL., to the late Barney Broxton and Ruthie Broxton Vincent.

William is survived by two sons, Eric and Christopher Broxton of Bay County; six brothers, James, Clyde, Wayne, Larry, Terry and Jerry Broxton of Bay County; four sisters, Frances Smith of Villa Rica, Ga., Pat Cheek, Debra Custer and Wanda Newsome of Bay County; a special brother-in-law, Ralph Cheek of Bay County; many nieces, nephews and cousins; partner/friend, Patricia; and a dear friend, Merk Strickland.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jimmy Ray Broxton.

William was a member, saved and baptized at First Baptist Church-House of Hope in Panama City, FL. He enjoyed cooking, loved life and spending time with his ever-increasing family.

Memorialization will be by cremation. The family will hold a private memorial service.
