Mrs. Frances Smith McGinnis, age 71, of Villa Rica, passed away, January 25, 2020.
She was born February 18, 1948 in Hillsborough County, FL, the daughter of the late Mr. Barney Wright Broxton and the late Mrs. Ruthie Mae King Broxton.
She worked for Floyd Brown Cabinets for many years. She loved crafts, going camping in the mountains and spending time with her grandchildren. She attended Union Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two daughters, Joy Angela Broxton and Laura Michelle Smith; brothers, James Broxton, Larry Broxton, William Broxton, Jimmy Broxton; sister, Wanda Newsome; grandchildren, Timothy Ray and Christy Ray; son-in-law, Ned Morgan; grandson-in-law, Chad Wallace.
She is survived by her husband, Mac McGinnis of Villa Rica; son, Wendell and Judy Smith of Villa Rica; daughters, Pamela Clay of Carrollton, Candace Smith and Charles Webb of Villa Rica; sisters, Patricia and Ralph Cheek of Panama City, FL, Deborah Sue Custer of Kentucky; brothers, Wayne and Cindi Broxton of Fountain, FL, Jerry and Ann Broxton of Panama City, FL, Terry Broxton of Yorkville, Clyde Broxton of Panama City, FL; extended generations.
The Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the JWFH Chapel. Interment will follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Gardens.
