Aileen Leece, 89, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Norton Audubon Hospital. Born on April 19, 1934 in Madison County, KY.
She was a retired plant operator for Modine, a member of Fairdale Church of God, a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to all who knew her.
Preceding Aileen in death are her husband, Woody Leece; parents, Sanford Lee and Nannie Portwood; siblings, Donald Portwood, Vivian Lear and Joyce Hayden.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Dale (Lisa) Leece; and grandchildren, Jean (Brianna) and Stacy; and siblings, Roberta Bolton, Dorothy Wilson, Janice Day, Ron Portwood, and Gladys Harris.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday with burial in the Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. -12 p.m. Saturday
