Laura Frankeline "Frankie" Webster, 88, of Manilla, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at her home.
Born August 13, 1935, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of James Frank Carpenter and Ethel Marie(Patterson)Carpenter. She married Jon Webster on July 20, 1958 and he preceded her on April 19, 2012.
Mrs. Webster is survived by daughter, Kally Marie Webster(Gabor Nagy) of France, and son, Robin(Jodie)Webster of Manilla.
She is also survived by her brother, William Carpenter of Tennessee and sister, Lavinna Bayless of Arizona; 4 grandchildren; Emma Nagy, Tristan Nagy, Sarah Webster, and Elizabeth Webster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, 3 brothers; Wallace Carpenter, Frank Carpenter, and John Carpenter; and 1 sister, Mary Louise McColley.
Frankie had lived in this area all of her life. She graduated from Waldron High School in 1953.
She was a wife and mother and extremely proud of her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She loved music and attending symphonies as well as traveling and reading.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Manilla Cemetery.
