PHILADELPHIA - Mrs. Marie B. Canning of 1739 W. North St., Bethlehem, wife of Albert A. Canning, died in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital Tuesday.
Born in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah Hawk Bill.
She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two sons, Webster B., Pottstown, and Edward A., Bethlehem; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth J. Lipscomb, Bath R. 2, and Mrs. Louise M. Keller, Bethlehem; a stepdaughter Mary E. Paxton, Birmingham, Mich.; a brother John Bill, Tatamy; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Fissel, Bethlehem; Mrs. Paul Seifert, Bethlehem R. 2; Mrs. Edyth Godshall, Bethlehem, and Mrs. Michael Carletta, Parma, Ohio; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Steyers Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. Viewing will be Thursday night.
