A. A. Canning, 92, Retired Draftsman

Albert A. Canning, 92, of the Bible Fellowship Church Home, Nazareth, formerly of 1739 W. North St., Bethlehem, died Friday in St. Luke's Hospital.

He retired in 1944 as a draftsman in the engineering department of Bethlehem Steel Corp. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Albert and Eva (Unangst) Canning. He was the husband of the late Marie (Bill) Canning. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.

Surviving are two sons, Webster of Pottstown, and Edward A. of Bethlehem; three daughters, Mary, wife of George Paxton of Alamesa, Calif., Ruth, wife of Robert Lipscomb of Bath R. 2, and Louise, wife of Fred Keller of Bethlehem; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lester S. Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden St., Bethlehem. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Monday.
