Dorothy Jean (Fox) McCoin, 88, passed away Monday, December 18th, 2023, in Oklahoma City after a brief illness. Dorothy was born in Roff, Oklahoma to Luther and Bertha (Brewer) Fox on March 3, 1935. Dorothy married the love of her life, Tommy Dean McCoin on July 1, 1954; they were married for 57 years. Dorothy worked for the Oklahoma City Public Schools in the cafeteria for 23 years. Dorothy was a devoted member of the Church of Christ.

Dorothy was very athletic in her younger years. She attended Wynnewood High School and played basketball and softball. She also enjoyed watching OSU football and basketball, women's college softball and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her grandsons and preparing wonderful meals for her family. She also enjoyed traveling with her family and friends.

Dorothy will always be remembered for her kind heart and always putting others first.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tommy and 15 siblings.
