Charles C. Brandt, Dies at Farm Home: Charles C. Brandt, 77 who had lived on a farm three miles southeast of Sioux Falls for the past 10 years, died at his home Thrusday night following a three-month's illness. He had farmed in the Sioux Falls area for more that 40 years. Furneral services with the Rev. James W. Asp officiating, will be held at the Miller Funeral Home at 11 am Monday. Mrs. C. B. Van Ausdall will be organist. Mrs. Norman Stordahl will be vocalist. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. (unreadable line?) Mr. Brandt moved to Sioux Falls with his parents as a small boy. He later returned to Sabula and lived on farm near Hartford before moving to a farm northeast of Sioux Falls shortly after the turn (unreadable line??) Mr. Brandt, a member of the Lutheran Church, moved ot his present farm in 1943. Survivors, all of Sioux Falls, are his widow, the former Mary Anderson, whom he married here Oct 8, 1913; a son, Henry; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Hall, and seven grandchilren.
