FORMER S.F. WOMAN SUCCUMBS AT YANKTON; Mrs. Margaret Brandt, Who Came Here in 1885, Dies-Rites Thrusday (Argus Leader, Tuesday, Jan 30 1934 pg 5): Mrs. Margaret Brandt, 78 years old, formerly of Sioux Falls, died Monday night at Yankton. Mrs. Brandt came to this city in 1885. She was born at Hummelfeld, Germany, September 1, 1855. Surviving are one son, Charles Brandt. R.F. D. No. 1. Sioux Falls; a sister, Mrs. R. C. Klatt, Sioux Falls, and two grandchildren. Her husband and two sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Miller Funeral home. Rev. O. G. Malmin, pastor of the East Side Lutheran church., will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
