Ann Arminio Reiter passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon, in 2018.

Ann was the youngest of six children of Angelo and Rose Arminio. Before her, were Joe (Marlene) Arminio, Mary (Pete) Inforzato, Domma (Martin) Reece, James (Marilyn) Arminio and Sam (Judy) Arminio. Ann chose to remain at home to assist in caring for her ailing parents. This arrangement allowed her to stay close to her siblings and their growing families while beginning her career at Ohio Casualty Insurance Company.

As lifelong Hamilton residents, Ann and Vernon actually lived across the street from each other. Unbeknownst to them, they both served as the primary caregiver for their parents. At the encouragement of a neighbor, Ann accepted Vernon's invitation for a date. They wed on May 22, 1976. While they never had children, Ann and Vernon were the beloved aunt and uncle to their many nieces and nephews and their respective children. They were known for their hospitality, holiday parties. Ann loved baking, and her friends and family members often received whatever was featured in the latest issue of Taste of Home magazine or in one of the many cookbooks she acquired throughout her life.

In recent years, most of Ann's memories faded, however, friends and family members would frequently share stories that demonstrated her generous spirit. Ann loved attending the Ohio Casualty retiree luncheons, where her coworkers and lifelong friends remembered Ann for her generous spirit and love of baking. She also enjoyed outings with her family and looked forward to spending time with them playing cards, shopping trips, going out to eat, and holiday celebrations.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 18th from 10 AM until time of the Services at 12 PM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 3950 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton, OH 45015. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery (Hamilton, OH).
