SARAH ELIZABETH SPOONAMORE, age 81, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away Thursday August 31, 2000 at Grandview Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Spoonamore was born September 12, 1918 in Rockcastle County, KY. She was a daughter of the late Howard & Martha (Bradley) Owens. She was a member of the Union Pentecostal Church in Trotwood, OH. Preceded in death by husband William E. Spoonamore on February 22, 1999 and two brothers.
Survived by children Joyce Adeline Maye of Toledo, OH, Katie Lucille Norman of Trotwood, Patricia Dianna Hollon of Trotwood, Barry Lee Spoonamore of New Lebanon, Martha Jane Spoonamore of New Lebanon, Ricky Eugene Spoonamore of Dayton, OH and William Alvin Spoonamore of West Alexandria, OH; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sisters Beulah McKinney of Berea, KY, Minnie Kidwell of Crab Orchard, KY, Mattie Hignite of Fairborn, OH, Jewell Milburn of Union, OH and Ida Brown of Englewood, OH; brothers Howard Owens of Beavercreek, OH and Egbert Owens of Morrow, OH.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, September 4, 2000 at the Barnes Funeral Home with Pastor James Whorton presiding. Friends may call on the family from 3 - 6 P.M. Sunday at the Funeral Home. Interment Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.
