He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Daphne. Two sons also survive him, Michael L. Owens and wife Kathy, and Jeff Owens, as do 7 grandchildren: William (Mandy) Owens, David (Jessica) Owens, Matthew (Rachel) Owens, Stephanie (Steven) Kelter, Cristin Owens, Sarah (Ben) Barca, Jeannette (Joe) Hennig and 6 great-grandchildren: Elijah, Zander, Atticus, Maribel, Quinn and Cassidy. Two sisters also survive him: Ida (Casper) Brown and Loretta Milbern. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Howard was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was employed as a contractor by V.R. Rose Concrete and went on to work at Delco-Moraine, from where he retired. Howard was very focused on his family and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Kettering, Serving with joy as a greeter on Sunday.
