Jewell “Loretta” Milbern, age 83 of Union, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018. Loretta was a member at Union United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing and cooking, and was very proud to be a County and State Blue Ribbon winner for quilt-making. She is survived by her sons: Daniel (Linda) Milbern, John Gansley, sister: Ida (Casper) Brown, grandchildren: Tammy (David Harleman) Collins, Matthew Gansley, John (Jennifer) Gansley, James Cameron, Michael Cameron, Shelly (John) Scott, great-grandchildren: Madison, Grayson, Phillip, Brittani, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Milbern, children: Ronnie Scoggin, Barbara Cameron, siblings: Elizabeth Spoonamore, Beulah McKinney, Mattie Hignite, Minnie Kidwell, and Egbert, William, Millard, and Howard Owens, grandsons: Marty and George Cameron. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Pastor Jeffery Blair officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Dayton VA Cemetery.
