OSSIPEE, N.H. Leo R. Dahill, 63, formerly of Lebanon, died this morning at Veterans Administration Medical Center in White River Junction after a long illness.
He was born in South Hadley, Mass., June 7, 1917, son of Thomas and Zeba (Russell) Dahill.
For the past 15 years Mr. Dahill had been resident manager of Sentinel Baptist Camp in Ossipee. He was a veteran of World War II and before moving to Ossipee had lived in Lebanon where he was employed by Split Ballbearing. Mr. Dahill was active in Scouting while in Lebanon, deacon of First Baptist Church and a member of American Baptist Men of New Hampshire.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of Ossipee; two sons, Neal of Toronto, Canada, and Bruce stationed with the U.S. Army in Arizona; two daughters, Lorna Caldwell of Alabama and Lisa Dumont of Manchester; four grandchildren; two brothers, Earl of Holyoke, Mass., and Donald of Huntington, Mass.; two sisters, Dorothy Otto and Isabelle Dahill, both of Northampton, Mass.; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon.
