Obituary:
"Julia H. Fridley passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the age of 99. She was born on April 15, 1924, in Sidney, Montana and was the youngest daughter of the late Leonora and William Hull.
In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Fridley; six sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by seven children: Donna Branch, Janice Smith, Karen Tate and husband, Tommy, Terri Jones, Barbara Strniste and husband, Peter, Gerald "Jerry" Fridley, and Gayle Fridley. Julia is also survived by seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Julia was a member of the Neighborhood Alliance Church of Longwood, Florida. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, which she managed to amass several over the years and gave to family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Longwood, Florida at 1:00 pm for viewing and 2:00 pm for services.
A Graveside Service will be held at Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023, with Pastor Dwayne Brown officiating.
