New Hope, AL - Joseph Porter Dunn, 85, of Rt. 1, New Hope, died Saturday at the Guntersville Hospital.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at the Hebron Baptist Church. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery, New Hope Funeral Home in charge. The Rev. Frank Poland will officiate.
Mr. Dunn was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cassie Ward Dunn of New Hope; a son, Conrad A. Dunn of Walnut Ridge, AR; six daughters, Mrs. Bertha Bearden, Grant, Mrs. Ovie Bearden, Mrs. Ozell Keel and Mrs. Odell Keel, all of New Hope, Mrs. Mae Well and Mrs. Onema Carr, both of Walnut Ridge, AR; 43 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Dan Dunn of Union Grove.
