Funeral services for Pamela Childress, age 66, of Attalla, will be held Thursday October 19, 2023 at 11 am at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Funeral Home with Bro. Braden Phillips officiating the service. The family will receive friends from 10 until time of service. Burial will follow at Forrest Cemetery.
Pamela passed away on October 16, 2023 at her home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Farris Tensey and Gladys Underwood; daughter, Misty McDonald; brother, Roger Underwood; sister, Cheryl Kim Allen.
She leaves behind her son, Doug Wise (Danielle); brothers, Ronald Underwood (Angie), Donald Underwood (Mony); sisters, Vicki Bridenbaugh (Jim), Melody Templeton; sister-in-law, JoAnn Underwood; brothers-in-law, Bobby Allen and Harold Leverett; uncle, Wayne Underwood (Glenda); aunts, Eloise Crowe and Jean Bearden; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; special cousin, Charlotte Bowen; special friends, Jane Parker and Kim Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Childress attended Kyle Avenue Baptist Church and was an avid Alabama football fan. She was a CNA at Attalla Health Care for many years.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Bullock, Mark Bullock, Scott Rodgers, Gary Roberson, Ethan Gilbert, and Gage Bullock.
