Mr. Farris "Rip" Tensey Underwood, 75, Harriman, Tennessee, died from complications arising from a car accident in November. His spirit and the sound of his steel guitar will live in the hearts of all who knew him. He was retired from the city of Gadsden. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kyle and Lucille Underwood; son, Roger Underwood; granddaughter, Kayla Alford; brothers, Carl and Charles Underwood; survived by children; Ronald, Donald, Pamela Underwood, Vicki Wood, Cheryl Allen and Melody Leverett; siblings, Doshie Smith, Eloise Crowe, Wayne Underwood; the mother of his seven children, Gladys Underwood; grandchildren.
