Harlin was born July 16, 1930 in La Grande, Oregon to Harlin and Daisy (Stone) Lovely and passed away May 1, 2019 in Tillamook, Oregon at the age of 88.
Harlin graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1949. He worked in the lumber industry and owned his own business as a handiman. He later taught school at Nestucca High School. He lived in Tillamook for over 52 years.
Harlin enjoyed his retirement traveling, wood-working and landscaping his yard.
Harlin was married to Donna Lee Whisenhunt on December 8, 1966 in Reno, Nevada.
Harlin is survived by his wife Donna Lee Lovely of Tillamook, OR.
His children; Gary Hayes and wife Cora of Tillamook, OR., Terry Lovely and wife Janice of Sweet Home, OR., Pam Hawkins and husband Bill of Ft Worth, TX., and Tony Lovely and wife Tamara of Tillamook, OR.
14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Harlin is preceded in death by his son Dan Hayes, and grandsons Gary Jr.and David Hayes
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
