BIO PREPARED BY ROSE H. BONNELL, 8 OCT 2023, (DESCENDANT OF LORUHAMA'S BROTHER BRINKLEY HOWS):

LIFETIME BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH:
CLAYTON'S 1880 HISTORY OF TENNESSEE, in the full-page two-column biographical sketch of "William H. Lovell," husband of L. Ruhama [Hows/]House, [p. = 484-B, has nine unnumbered inserts between page 484 and 485, eight biographies and one blank page equating to A-H + blank, so ours equates to 484-B]:
"William Harrison Lovell was born on Sam's Creek, Davidson Co., Tenn., May 14, 1810. (This territory is now a part of Cheatham County.) His father, John Munroe Lovell, was born Sept. 1, 1777, in North Carolina, and moved to Davidson County about the commencement of the present century, and settled, after marrying Susanna Pack in 1808, on Sam's Creek…."
Also: "William H. Lovell resided with his parents until 1832, when on April 4, he married Miss L. Ruhama House, daughter of John C. House, Esq., who came to Davidson County in 1814 from near Raleigh, N.C. She was born Sept. 21, 1813."
It further says that after 1862 death of daughter Caroline and 1863 death of her husband, that Loruhama and William took their two daughters, (granddaughters) Ida and Emma to raise as their own.
AND [p. 90], a John House served as Justice in 1851. "1851: John House. Quorum: Joseph H. McEwen, Hawes Graves, Isaac Paul.
(REF: History of Tennessee, by W. W[oodford]. Clayton, 1880, page 90, and bio in unnumbered bio section, two pages after page 484, equating to numeric value of unnumbered 486; URL: https://www.google.com/books/edition/History_of_Davidson_County_Tennessee/8ipEAQAAMAAJ, image 467.)

FAMILY BIBLE RECORD:
The William H. Lovell and wife, L. Ruhama [Loruhama] (House [Hows]) Lovell Family Bible record page photo, posted by Caitlin Clyne Lovell on 17 Jan 2018, original recorded data includes the following: "From the William H. Lovell Family Bible (owned by Joseph Charles Lovell Jr.)."
Photo of Bible Page is attached at Ancestry.com Public Member Tree, "Lovell Family Tree" by Caitlin Clyne Lovell.

(WARNING: A crucial entry in very faded ink was missed in transcriptions: See second column, second paragraph (right-hand side):
"Penelope Hows, wife of John C. Hows, and mother of Loruhama Lovell, departed this life the 12th May 1851."
Unfortunately, the identity of Penelope (King) Hows was erroneously conflated with that of her granddaughter Susan/nah Penelope [(Lovell)] Cox, further down the page, the 7th paragraph of 8 on the second column.)

KNOWN CHILDREN (RELATIONSHIP EXPLICITLY STATED IN FAMILY BIBLE):
Susan Penelope [(Lovell)] Cox, daughter of W. H. Lovell and Loruhama [(Hows)] Lovell, departed this life 28th March 1884.
Caroline Tennessee [(Lovell)] Shelton, daughter of W. H. Lovell and Loruhama [(Hows)] Lovell, departed this life the 16 of July 1862.
[FYI: Deaths seem entered out of chronology, with this crossed off bottom of second column and recopied to bottom of first column. FACT: Other Lovell names of birth and death are listed this page but without relationship or parentage noted as these two (above) are.]
NOTE TO SELF: Will add any additional children later, am currently waiting for further Bible information, via Ancestry.com internal email, hopefully photos of additional pages, from either Caitlin Clyne Lovell or current owner Joseph Charles Lovell Jr.

NEWSPAPER ISSUE: May 10, 1844: "WILLIAM HARRISON LOVELL son of John Monroe Lovell, who moved to Tenn. in 1800 and married Susan Pack; born May l4, 1810, Davidson Co., Tennessee; married Loruhama Hows, April 4, 1833; died February 4, 1884; six children."

TRYING TO LOCATE ORIGINAL. NOT ON NEWSPAPERS.COM, NOR CHRONICLINGAMERICA.LOC.GOV, NOR WORLDCAT.ORG.

CEMETERY DEDUCTION (AS BEST LIKELIHOOD):
Since she probably died in Davidson Co TN, where she was then a resident, it is most likely she was buried with family.
FACT: Daughter ,Caroline Tennessee (Lovell) Shelton, (mentioned in same Bible Page Photo cited above), is purportedly buried in the Hows-Hutton Cemetery in Davidson County, Tennessee.

ALERT: Awaiting correction by edit request to FAG manager of the conflated Susan Penelope (King) Hows, to remove the erroneous Susan from her mix-up with granddaughter Susan/nah Penelope (Lovelle) Cox. Our ancestor was just Penelope "Penny" (King) Hows, NOT Susan Penelope. DISAMBIGUATION: The given name Susan/na came to the granddaughter from the other grandmother Susanna Pack Lovell (SEE lifetime biographical sketch above).
