Mrs. Kimbrough Buried at Concord
Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Gertrude Turman Kimbrough, retired Shannon Chair Co., employee, who died at 7:30 pm, Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Houston Hospital, were conducted from the Houston Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm, Saturday, Jan. 19. She was 71.
Interment was in the Concord Cemetery.
The Rev. Howard Hathorn and Charles Bland officiated.
Pallbearers were T J Colburn, Paul Baine, Olyn Pounds, Paul Jernigan, Clyde Parks, and Lyndon Mathis.
Mrs. Kimbrough was born in Chickasaw county, the daughter of William Andrew Turman and Ona Bishop Turman. She was a member of the Houston United Methodist Church.
The widow of the late Rubert F Kimbrough, she leaves a son, Robert Ovid Kimbrough of Calhoun City; her mother, Mrs. Ona Turman Bishop of Houston; a brother, Everett Turman of Houston; a sister, Mrs. Jewel Barwick of Greenville, and three grandchildren.
