Obituary
Roy Michael Wilcutt, age 72, passed away on September 25, 2023. Mike was born on January 2, 1951, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., where he grew up and graduated from Poplar Bluff high school in 1969. After graduation Mike attended Three Rivers Junior College in Poplar Bluff. In 1971 he was drafted into the US Army. Following basic and advanced training Mike was assigned to Fort Riley Kansas where he served out the balance of his military duty as a combat training coordinator.

In 1979 Mike married Judy Parent. They later settled in Jackson, Mo, and had 2 children, Jennifer (Locke) and Laura (Wiser). Mike went to work for Wetterau Foods in Scott City, Mo., eventually advancing to a position in shipping supervision. In 1992 Wettereau was acquired by Super Valu, Inc and moved out of the area. Mike subsequently went to work for the USDA. He and Judy divorced in 2002.

In the early 2000's Mike met Connie Robison. The two became partners and moved to Scott City, Mo in 2002. They would later marry. Connie had 2 children, David Robison and Lindsey (Robison) Casper. Mike retired from the USDA in 2016.

We remember Mike for his never-ending passion to party and his love of golf. Over the years he made many friends playing tournaments throughout the greater southeast Missouri area. He also collected many trophies along the way usually teaming with his brother Gary or friends Rick Pike and Bill Heaton. Mike loved Westwood Hills Country Club and played many enjoyable rounds sharpening his game and his sense of humor with close lifelong friends George Jarboe, Jim Wolpers and Charlie Love.

Mike is survived by his wife Connie (Robison) Wilcutt of Scott City and her 2 children (son) David Robison (wife Candi) and daughter Lindsey Casper. Also, by his daughters Jennifer Locke of Jackson and Laura Wiser (husband Matt) of Farmington, Mo. Also by 5 grandchildren: Conner and Holden Locke, Crosby Gene Wiser, Kenzie Robison and Quintin Casper. Also, by his sisters Jan Bennett and Sherry Wilcutt both of Poplar Bluff, Kathy Ray of Conway, AR and brother Gary Wilcutt of Overland Park, KS.

The funeral will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 29 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Visitation will start at 10:30 AM.
