Mrs. Loretta B. Lyszczasz Wardenski, 84, of Linden, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, in her home. Family and friends are invited to meet at the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Monday, Dec. 8, at 9:30 a.m.where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden. Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Born in Elizabeth, Mrs. Wardenski has lived in Linden for 60 years. She was a member of the Tremley Point Senior Citizens, Linden, and during World War II, she was a "Rosie the Riveter" at Eastern Aircraft, Linden. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward A. Wardenski (1987). Mrs. Wardenski is survived by her children, Stanley, John and Stephen Wardenski, Patricia Cerchiaro, Joan Parrott, Kathleen Jacob, Christine Syers and Susan Krawec; a brother, Joseph Lystash; two sisters, Bertha Shenk and Helen Sarnicki; 13 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
