LARRY LYNN McDANIEL
November 6, 1947 ~ May 14, 2019

Mr. Larry L. McDaniel of Bainbridge, age 71, passed away very suddenly on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

Services for Mr. McDaniel will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 16, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Pastor Allen Griffin will officiate.

Larry was born November 6, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas. His parents, Jim Burton McDaniel and Virtie Williams McDaniel, have preceded him in death.

Larry was raised in Oklahoma. He was born one of triplets (Gary and Jerry). Like the old-time cowboys he loved so much, Larry was a hard-working, head-strong man. Larry worked for the Decatur County Road Maintenance Department for over 30 years. Presently, he worked as a mechanic for Action Tree Removal. He loved Westerns and enjoyed a cup of coffee or a Mt. Dew. Larry loved to go to Casinos to gamble or take his chances with Lottery tickets. A loving companion, father, grandfather, and friend, he cared deeply for others. He adored sweets and Mary always had some in the kitchen. As Larry rides off into the sunset, he will be deeply missed by the family he loved so very much.

Larry McDaniel is survived by his wife, Mary Mcleod; children, Lynn McDaniel (Charla), Jim McDaniel (Angie), Brian McDaniel (Julie), Rachel Williams Dennis), Cassandra Phillips, Jody Smith, and Kathy McDaniel;

Brothers, and sisters, Archie McDaniel, Pauline Griffin, Gary McDaniel, and Jerry McDaniel;

Grandchildren, Stacey (Heather), Dustin, Kiesey (Derrick), Kourtney, Anthony, Arial, Allyssa, A.J. (Chasity), Nathan, Kristen, and Myrajo; great grandchildren, Eli, Kayden, Grayson, Zack, and Blake; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Von Craft McDaniel; and son, Adam Day.

**Rip Larry! You were one of those people that comes into your life and leaves a beautiful print on it. You were a great papa to my Allyssa Von. She sure loves you and I will always keep your memory alive for her. IΓÇÖm still so shocked that this happened and I know itΓÇÖs hard on Mary losing someone so special to her. We will watch over her and make her feel just as loved as you did. Love you always!
