Charles "Poke" McDaniel, 72, of Broken Bow, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Broken Bow. He was born February 16, 1934 in the Sherwood Community, the
son of Jim and Verdie Williams McDaniel.
Charles was a retired oil field worker and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Floyd McDaniel, Bill McDaniel, Cecil McDaniel, and Bert J. McDaniel; sisters, Faye McDaniel and Inez Coleman.
Charles is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Archie and Joyce McDaniel of Broken Bow, Jimmy and Judy McDaniel of Zafra, Larry McDaniel of Georgia, Garry and Ruth McDaniel of Garvin, and Jerry and Cora McDaniel of Millerton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Willie and Donnie Hudson of Wynnewood, and Pauline and Bill Griffin of Garvin; a sister-in-law, Billie McDaniel of Valliant; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of
friends.
Graveside Services will at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hatfield, Arkansas with Bro. Riley Donica officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the funeral home.
