She was born at Severy, Aug. 10, 1920, a daughter of Frank and Lillie Frances (White) Welch. She attended Fall River schools and graduated from Fall River High School in 1939.
Following graduation, she moved to the Denver, Colo., area and then to Los Angeles, Calif., where she was a network design engineer for Pacific Telesis. Upon her retirement in 1985, she returned to Fall River. She was a member of the Nazarene Church.
Survivors are two sons, Kevin L. Meyer of Fall River and Alfred J. Bouse Jr. of Bremerton, Wash.; one brother, Warren Frank Welch of Eufala, Okla.; two sisters, Neamah Barker of Greeley, Colo., and Nina Burr of Salina; two grandchildren. one daughter preceded her in death.
Services were held at the Severy Church of the Nazarene on Jan. 25. Rev. Terry Buchanan officiated. Burial was in the South Lawn Cemetery at Severy under the direction of the Campbell-Kelley Funeral Home in Eureka.
