George S. Lash Jr. was 46 yrs 6 mo. & 5 days old. He is not on the list of burials in the old section, and cannot be located on the new section, so his burial was not recorded, as the death was some what a surprise. He was a butcher and Livery man. Was married to Emma K. Davis Lash as she is buried on single graves at Charles Evans Cemetery in Reading. The Reading newspaper stated he was buried in Sinking Springs, so this would be where he is buried, but the year he died, 1896 they were starting to bury at the upper part/new section of the Sinking Spring cemetery, so he could be buried on his brothers lot and unmarked! As we know he had 6/7 children, William in New York, Elizabeth, Margaret, George Cyrus Lash of Hamburg,Pa., James O. Lash said to have gone to Michigan, Bessie Lash & Maggie D. Lash who died young and are on the Reading City Death Records and both are buried few rows from their Mother Emma.
